Chris Hemsworth decided to take a break from Career
The Marvel movie star wants to spend more time with his family.
- The actor learned about the increased risk of developing Alzheimer's disease during the filming of the documentary series Limitless, in which Chris Hemsworth tested what a person is capable of at the peak of his physical form, and how he can slow down aging.
- After the tests, Hemsworth was told that he had two copies of the APOE4 gene, from his father and mother, and this combination leads to an increased risk of Alzheimer's disease.
- Hemsworth notes that this is not yet a diagnosis, but such a combination increases the likelihood of developing Alzheimer's disease in the future by 8-10 times.
- The actor admits that in a sense he is glad that he learned about his predisposition so early. According to him, this will allow him to be ready and will motivate him to always be in good physical and mental shape. Hemsworth jokes that if he forgets some things, it can now be chalked up to dementia.

- Hemsworth admitted that he was ready to return to the role of Thor in Marvel films, but only if the authors came up with a full-fledged ending for his character.

Now he's going to take a career break to spend more time with his family. Hemsworth says he's been running a marathon for the past 10 years and now wants to be more selective in his roles.
